Watercolor, Mixed media, & Batik
We are excited to have Kathie George, a well known watercolor and batik artist and international teacher, at Artful Endeavors for two days, sharing her wonderful art techniques. Her work is primarily water media or collage, but she is best known for her watercolor batik on rice paper. She is a delight as a teacher. No prior watercolor experience is needed for these classes. This is a great opportunity to learn.
From Kathie’s web site: “As a workshop instructor for over 25 years, Kathie is known for her friendly, informative and energetic approach to teaching. Her students say “she has an innate ability to know what a student needs and then show them how to get there.” No doubt this may be one reason students return to her workshops over and over again.
Kathie George’s award winning work can be found in many corporate and private collections in the US and abroad. She has twice been a finalist in Artist Magazine’s Art Competition (among 14,000 entrants) and her work was featured in their Limited Edition Calendar in 2001, and again in 2007.
Kathie has authored 5 watercolor books and written numerous magazine articles for well-known artist magazines. She’s a signature member of both the Ohio and Florida Watercolor Societies.”

We are pleased once again to offer our seminar with Ginger Edwards. If you have painted with Ginger before you will know that she is a wealth of knowledge about decorative painting and such fun to host at a seminar.

Ros Stallcup Seminar 2010!
July 18-20 & 22-24, 2010
We’re doing something a little different this year!
The first 3 days of the seminar runs Sun – Tue. Our break is on Wed.
The second three days runs Thurs – Sat.
This gives you Sunday to travel home or just rest after a fun week of painting with Ros.
Ros again will create completely new projects just for us. This year we have also chosen some of our favorites of Ros’ new paintings not yet taught at Artful Endeavors.
I’ll post the photos of projects already painted and the entirely new paintings will be posted this spring when Ros creates them.
Ros and Liz will choose surfaces a little later and you will be able to reserve and purchase them in the spring at Artful Endeavors.
